Supporting the Sacred Power of Devotional Chanting Together
Kirtan lovers and aficionados!! We need your support. Our powerful and impactful Kirtans are $500 a week to produce (space rental, musicians, admin, etc). I’ve had it as an open donation event so that all feel welcome and can participate. But the donations don’t come close to covering the typical costs (average donation is $7/person) and I’ve been covering the rest. I’m totally committed to keeping the event so that no one is ever turned away because of money, even with the changes we need to make.
In order to continue, I am seeking patrons to help support our essential (and FUN!) community practice – see some options below. And starting in January, we’ll also switch from “donation” to “admission,” always with the policy that if the $20 admission is too much, people can pay whatever they can, and no one will be turned away.
I truly love and appreciate all of you, old and new, who have enjoyed, been healed by, and shared our chants, song and prayers. It brings continuous Joy to my life and, I suspect, to all who participate.
